I really like this shot but that doesn't mean it will do well. If it stays above my average (currently 5.5) I'll by happy.

Post Challenge
Didn't think this shot would be so misunderstood. I felt it reflected an intimate relationship of sky and earth, sun and water, light and dark. I felt like I was seeing something that was special because I had taken the time to look, something I wasn't suposed to see, something usually hidden. I thought it portrayed it well.

That is beautiful. The dark clouds on the top surrounding the image in dark with the light shining through is excellent. In another challenge this could be a winner, in this one it depends on voters interpretation of intimacy.

Not sure what this has to do with 'intimacy'... it seems like you took a pretty photo and wanted to make it fit into the challenge with a title. It's definitely a pretty photo.

Beautiful landscape and the title is a pretty good try at squeezing it into this challenge. For me it just doesn't fit but its still a great shot. As a result I can only give it a 5 even though as a stand alone its worth more.

Absolutely beautiful shot. I am not sure about the relationship to the challenge. The bright spot in the sky is blown out. You might try a graduated neutral density filter to control the dynamic range.
