I am new to the site, thus the reason that I am just now commenting. I have been scrolling through the different challenges and admiring the creativity of most that have taken the opportunity to display it. This is one that had me stop and stare for a bit, great job on all technical aspects! A most wonderful display of creativity!

One of my favorites this week... At first I thought you should have cropped out the tile at the bottom, but as the week went on, I realized it would be too close a crop for the handles then. Congratulations on a great shot!

10/05/2002 12:36:00 AM
i am wondering how you did this?
reflectance transfer factor seems 100%
10/04/2002 10:51:00 PM
This is a great picture, the title could habe been: "Where I Reflect on Myself", but no, I think your title is better.
10/04/2002 10:03:00 PM
Surreal almost like a Salvador Dali painting
10/04/2002 09:19:00 PM
Well done.
10/04/2002 07:59:00 PM
Beuatiful composition and mood. I like that you got her entire body in the faucit. Very clever shot. Well lite.
10/04/2002 01:13:00 PM
Yes, I will buy that faucet! Shot is slick and glossy and should be used in advertising. Image jumps right out at you. Perfect execution. (10) ~mcmurma

Great clarity and colours. I took a sort if similar photo of myself a few weeks ago when on holiday. I was sitting in the hotel bath and noticed my huge feet and small head in the little round metal thing that you turn to close and open the plug - also lets overflow water out, but through the sides. I wouldn't inflict those on anyone but your lady friend is very pretty. The taps seem slightly fuzzy and the rest of the photo doesn't excite me as much as the faucet bit. I quite like it cropped on a portrait orientation and including only one tap with the faucet. Just my rambling thoughts.
Nice work. Best of luck for a ribbon!

great framing and clarity.. i wish she was smiling. i also wish the side of her face on my left was a bit brighter. good work. mag99.

This is just superb… I really love the colours and the way they all work seamlessly to produce a really pleasing overall image. The curved area – top left third – is a little bit of a negative; mainly because it draws the eye away from the central subject; this is also true, but much less so, of the tile line at the base. Other than those– really tiny – points, the picture is flawless, interesting and artistic. The lighting is pure perfection; this just compliments the colour beautifully. The soft lighting and creamy colours – and superb DOF I might add – when combined produce a feeling of purity and innocence within the shot… Wonderful, truly wonderful. (10+++) First class photography – you've made it look easy…
10/03/2002 08:14:00 PM
I like the creativity and composition! Very nice photograph.

10/02/2002 04:09:00 AM
Wow, such a clean faucet. Very nice.
10/02/2002 01:12:00 AM
Almost looks painted on. Good pic, good polish job on the spout.
10/02/2002 12:55:00 AM
Great job!
10/01/2002 09:54:00 PM
very clean tub. good shot.
10/01/2002 08:55:00 PM
Hi Connie. Excellent shot. My 10 for the week.
10/01/2002 05:20:00 PM
very nicely done
10/01/2002 02:01:00 PM
The detail is stunning. Not the easiest of shots I bet! The only quibble is the reflections of light of the tub but this is very nit-picky! 9-Martin
10/01/2002 02:01:00 PM
This is My Choice !!!! Picture Perfect ,Superb !!!!
10/01/2002 12:07:00 PM
This is very good! I wouldn't be surprised if this took 1st place. One of my top faves so far...BUT I still have 142 left to vote on. No matter what comes next this is excellent...crisp, clear focus with perfect dof, good tonal quality, well composed. Very nice indeed! Good luck! Grayce aka Gracious

This is a WOW shot. 10 Spiller
10/01/2002 11:13:00 AM
i love this one. original and well done. maybe a bit yellow. did u consider cropping it vertical to just show the faucet? it would look great. but then again the great majority would be "what is that? I dont get it, therefore i score it low" shame on them. great pic! : )
10/01/2002 10:06:00 AM
Definitely my favorite (besides my own submission) this week.
10/01/2002 08:10:00 AM
Another of my favorites this week. So very original! Lighting is very well done. I'm sure this one will score well this week. 10 from me.
10/01/2002 07:10:00 AM
Nice composition, splendid colours, very good idea. What would the picture have looked like with water running?
10/01/2002 05:38:00 AM
This is probably one of the best 'bath' shots I have seen for a while. The reflection of the woman is outstanding. Her pose really suits the small space in the tap. Very creative and a well thought through photo. Good luck with this weeks challenge :) 9
10/01/2002 12:36:00 AM
Interesting symbolism and commentary on female psychology with the opposing hot and cold faucets. I think the picture might have had more emotion if she'd been looking toward the hot!!! Seriously though, really nice shot!
10/01/2002 12:14:00 AM
Nice, quite a "glamour" shot!!! :)
09/30/2002 11:09:00 PM
Okay...My husband and I have put in a lot of discussion on this picture on how it was done. Please tell me that the reflection was origionally upside down and that you rotated the whole picture...then I will win. Am anxious to find out if I'm right. Very good composition, origionality, and quality. 10
09/30/2002 09:53:00 PM
I don't like nudes becouse my son help me rate the pictures but this is very well done -10
09/30/2002 08:02:00 PM
Wow, the reflection quality is outstanding. Did you use extra lighting? Very brave, yet modest, I like that. You have THE cleanest faucet I have ever seen. You deserve a 10 for that alone (joke!) This is just sooo good. 10 Swash
09/30/2002 07:22:00 PM
This is definitely one of my favorite reflections of the week. You did a superb job of capturing "humanly" tones in the reflection. The idea is fairly simple, the picture isn't busy, the picture isn't boring... Meet the challenge? Without a doubt... Technical? Excellent. The line of tile at the VERY bottom isn't great, but not a lot you can do about it... Appeal - At the top of the list! - 10 - JB
09/30/2002 06:05:00 PM
bravo!!!
09/30/2002 04:28:00 PM
excellent idea... Definitely unique and well thought out... kudos :) - setzler
09/30/2002 03:37:00 PM
Excellent sharpness, nice soft colors and perfect fit of the reflection. Very good.
09/30/2002 01:49:00 PM
Great idea, well executed
09/30/2002 01:37:00 PM
Great photo! That tap has been polished till it glows! Perfect reflection. My only criticism is that most people dont take a bath with their make-up on. Perhaps Im wrong but it looks like your model has lipstick on. Regardless it's an excellent shot. Well done. 9 - floyd
09/30/2002 01:25:00 PM
Great photo, 10+!
09/30/2002 11:42:00 AM
Winner - Winner!! Inventive, creative, I love this. Great idea. Yummy shot. Score 10 Justine
09/30/2002 10:16:00 AM
excellent entry. I personally dislike the yellowy lighting and would want to fix the white balance - even if it is correct :) Other than that small issue, this is an excellent shot, with the camera only slightly showing at the top (or something that looks like the camera) Excellent (I think I said that already)
09/30/2002 09:54:00 AM
Excellent PIC!!!! love it... the composition and the way you captured the image!
its a solid 8 for me! Richi
09/30/2002 08:59:00 AM
This is certainly better than seeing a bunch of buildings, sunglasses, pools and/or table tops! Well done.
09/30/2002 08:28:00 AM
Beautiful!!! I love the framing, and the model 10
09/30/2002 04:27:00 AM
Nice idea! I like the cropping and lighting - voted 9. Good luck for the challenge!
09/30/2002 03:33:00 AM
This is cool. I like how she seems to be enclosed in the spout - like a genie in a bottle. I'd shoot you if this were a pic of me tho b/c of the distortion :o) Great clear, crisp focus and color. Nice work! ~indigo997
09/30/2002 12:59:00 AM
Awesome! The colour makes it. The only 10 I have EVER given out.
09/30/2002 12:49:00 AM
I am going to ask you SOOOOO many questions about this shot. I tried this same thing for this week's challenge and couldn't get it to work. You have my admiration- if not envy :) MarkRob (8) Feel free to tell me in advance, I still want to try this shot.... and I won't change my vote either.
09/30/2002 12:39:00 AM
Great idea and execution. 8 Jak Later: let's make it a 9
