Yes, I know it's not exactly a body part per se, but it's close! Well, sorta. It's definitely "a creative take on a part of the human anatomy" - you gotta give it that! And I figure it may be good for a giggle or two. Apologies to those who think I'm going for the brown - I'm not. I'm going for the Posthumous and the comments. :-)

HUGE crop of some mosslike thingies growing in a planter that currently has nothing but weeds. The planter has to go, too, since it's cracked and falling apart. But that's neither here nor there. Post processing, after the huge crop, was a duplicate layer in soft light blending mode, reduced to 70% opacity. Neat Image with the Too family secret recipe (though I'm thinkin' it ain't gonna get me a ribbon this time), sharpen just a bit, resize, and voila, there you have it - penii on a stick. Just hoping this doesn't violate the Terms of Service...

Post challenge:
Ah so. As one commenter said, maybe a better title would have helped...

"Give us your most creative take on a part of the human anatomy - tiny little penises, can you see them?"
"Uncircumcised"
"Who knew this is where they came from?"

Sorry! I seem to have exceeded my usual capacity for tormenting voters, and didn't achieve any of my goals with this one. Didn't even get the brown. As punishment, I promise to quit entering challenges for awhile.

Making a comment bombing run and decided to start with your lowest scoring image. Hard to score much lower than this... look at all those 1's. Then again, it's rare to get 63 comments and 9 favorites with a blue ribbon shot. Could even be higher by the time you read this. Just goes to show that score has little to do with success is art. Thanks for making me smile with this intelligent challenge interpretation.

That's a neat range of votes you got there. (Mine = 5). Worth commenting on just to further torment those voters and non-voters.

Please don't stop entering challenges. I laughed my *** off. It was great! I got it right away. Because of that I scored it a lot higher than I normally would have. It is a hoot! I love it. Keep them coming.

Beautiful Deb! Not quite the right challenge for it to do well (which it could have), but funny. I see the title: "Mommy, where do little boys come from" ...

:) My guess is there has never been such a beautiful photo in 2nd to last place. And so cute to make me giggle out loud at my computer.

I would say that ya gotta love those non-imaginative voters. . .but. . .ummm. . .you don't gotta love 'em, do you!

Well, this certainly has gotten praise and accolades (not to mention faves) from people who count, so who cares about the ridiculous, undeserved score!

HehHeh, isn't it interesting that more boys than girls didn't recognize the 'body part'?

As punishment, I promise to quit entering challenges for awhile.

Oh, no!, If you stop entering Challenges, I stop looking at DPC until you tell me you have started entering Challenges again.

Now, try again, young lady!

I do like this macro, & did during voting too, but rated it average due to my not making a connection to anatomy. My initial thought was unappetizing droopy corn dogs, I figured it literally to be actually what it is - a rather unique botanical specimen.

Bradley!! You're supposed to wear those peni pads ALL THE TIME!!

I was! But you never told me the Stay-FreeĀ® Peni Pads weren't sweat bands.
The ones you sent were in a brown paper bag and seeing as I don't even play a Dr. on TV let alone be one, how was I supposed to know?

Deb, this is a great photo, but it sure didn't fit the challenge. But you almost got that coveted brown! Which is kind of a pity, as it is actually an excellent photo. Should have entered it in macro w/out bugs or flowers. :-) Edit to add: maybe I'm just not perverted enough, but I didn't even see the little penises until I read your remarks. I think the title should have clued me in. Pretty funny.

Ok so I forgot to leave my comment. BEFORE we talked, I was going to say that I thought that maybe this interpretation extended beyond the human body and you were looking at body parts of a plant. And if I was wrong, and this wasn't a plant, that I did not really want to know what this was. HOWEVER, since we talked, now all I see are little dicks on sticks (woulda been a good title)!!!! heheheheee

Excellent macro btw :D

Well, Deb, you certainly went out of the box, but as usual, you produced a wonderful image. :) FWIW, you have 5 times as many faves as the 3rd-place image.

Would not have thought this would get such a low score - maybe the uncircumcised are too scary for some? :) An admirable use of that sexy macro lens!

I love this - to see such a wicked imagination. Scary - they're uncircumcised.

Now, is this the "humurous" shot or the "beautiful flower" one? Didn't vote on this because I thought it was accidentally entered or going for the brown. Would have got a 7 from me in almost any other challenge.

ETS: Don't stop entering.

OK, when I was reading in the scores thread about how badly you were doing there is no way on earth that I would have connected your score with this picture. I thought is was intriguing and enough like a part of the body to warrant being in the challenge

Perhaps it lacked enough breast for many voters

Edited for early morning spelling

This looks like something that I would take, and make fun of, but get a low score on. It is defiitly unique however. I just think that everybody will give it a DNMC even though it is hysterical.

What is it? There is a lot to like about the picture, but it has to be taken as an abstract and I am not sure (???) if it meets criteria for the challenge.
