Thank you for the wonderful score and comments. They were really helpful.
I decided to enter the photo I did because of the shiny, metallic look it had. However, beforehand I swithered (constantly ;-) between it and this shot .
John JMart, you were right, I squirted the water in from the side.

That would be a tough choice as both are superb. Congrats on a top 10 finish. ;-)

The outtake has the best clarity and sharpness but the drops here have a nice pearl like quality. I'd have trouble picking between the two myself. Congratulations on the top10 finish :)

Wonderful shot Irene!!! Congrats on your top 10!!

I would so love to watch you create these amazing images, I've tried and ended up with a big mess and nothing to show for it. Kudos!

Congrats on your top 10, well done. had preferred the outtake, though, because of the more unusual and dynamic composition

Cool! very unique and interesting perspective and this is certainly one of my favorites in this challenge. The puddle with the reflection makes a marvelous illusion. It looks as though the water is being shot out rather than just dropped. A squirt bottle perhaps? I wonder if this isn't just a touch oversharpened judging by the jagged lines particularly on the top sting of water. In any case, it's still a great shot and I hope you score well!

this is such a great shot...but the top part of the shot looks a little pixelated (sp?) but could be my monitor. great job anyway.

I am perplexed by this image, how did you get the coulmn of dropping drops to be NOT perpendicular to the surface? Nice picture though (8)

Nice, clean and simple. Simple looking, that is with the uncomplicated background. Freezing these waterdrops like this was probably far from simple.
