Her Majesty's finest cuts through the River Avon at Stratford.

I fully expect many "too confusing" comments here, but enlarged to vast proportions where detail is not lost, it comes into its own.

Thank you for sparing time to comment on this – and for the additional post-challenge accolades. I do appreciate the sentiment and I'm glad that the photo was a winner for some, although the feedback means far more to me than a gif!

It was good enough for an infrequent "10" vote from me;
I'd have given it an "ll" if the button was handy.

dang, that's good seeing, oh yes, and superior photography.

Print? Please!! (Yes, I know Kali just asked. Figured it would help if there were two of us. And of "Sutcliffe's Apartments" as well?)

I love this shot for several reasons, tones, composition, flow of the water and it all comes together so well.
Disappointing you are not placed a LOT higher.

I'm absolutely stunned that this isn't on the front page. I made this a favorite the second I saw it, and the more I look the more I love it. Absolutely incredible.

There's something so cool and different about this that makes you want to stop and figure out what is going on. I love how the black contrasty trail follows the bird and cuts thru the smooth blue and white. Interesting processing here.

Brilliant concept & capture. The only thing that detracts slightly for me is the post processing. There's some jaggedness in the details of the bird, particularly around the beak and wing edges. Also, there is a grainy/posterized feel particularly in the waves. (keep in mind I am far from a processing expert)

Still, this is among my favorite photos in this challenge and I hope you do well with the votes. Congratulations.

Just amazing. I love how the wake behind the bird is so crisp and clear compared to the rest of the water. My pick for blue.

The PP here is really well done. The composition and colors overcome the need to see the bird's face more. I like it very much.
