Hi Alex,
I hadn't seen that image before, but I can see why you would be reminded of it.
It looks spectacular - but might have been a bit more difficult to replicate under basic editing ;-)

| Amazing technique, hard for me to even figure it out mentally. What I'm having trouble figuring it out, is the 45 degrees to the lens axis. It sure looks like it is practically perpendicular to the lens axis. Congrats! |

I understand the pepper's ghost but I would still love to see this set up from a wide angle.

Fabulous .... apart from that wonderful spirit/soul/apparition with it's gorgeous colour, I love that you desaturated the face.
If I HAD to pick on something, I'd say the mouth is a little TOO open.
Can't wait to find out exactly how you did this in basic editing.
