 Found a new little set of water fall in one of my favorite hiking spots. It was hard to get to, but fun to shoot. I over sated the thing a bit, but I did it for a class and color makes people oooh and ahhhh. This was shot in bright sunlight. I shot through 2 polarizing filters to create a dark enough frame to create the water effect. I was able to get 10secs in bright light!

Wow - Great long exposure effects on the water! (I'm such a sucker for waterfall shots done well.)

So do you hike and carry your tripod? Very crisp detail here, and nice smooth ooh/ahh water in the waterfall. Composed well to give the eye a path to follow, too. (And for the record, I'm not a huge fan of waterfall shots but this one is rather pleasing!)

Really pretty stop action on the silky water. I'd like this better if the top were cropped off. Just my opinion. I like my eyes to stay focused on the serene, bottom part, but they keep wandering back to the busy, top part.

Lovely image -- framing, composition, color. Would have preferred a little more sharpness and detail of rocks and flora providing greater juxtaposition of soft and hard.

Wonderful movement and color of the falls. Some of the rocks look like concrete which takes away from the "nature" aspect a little.
