 This is my first submission and I am excited to receive some feedback.

I took the photo with my 50mm F2.8 lens with extension tubes to get close. Natural shady sun lighting. I pilfered the "models" from my wife's sewing drawer.

With the exception of cloning out three tiny specks, and shrinking it to submission size, the photo is like it came out of the camera.

I think if you used a lighter color thread and a bit darker background it would help your subjects to stand out better. Nice job on your first entry!
