A convergence of circumstance. I rarely bring my camera to work. But I had it this day. Same day, my boss received his George Harrison replica Rickenbacker 12 string guitar. He's been looking for the perfect one for years. I know of at least one other that he bought and returned because it just wasn't close enought to George's. I think there may have been another. He has very exacting standards. This one he says is 98% perfect and he's going to add it to his collection which now numbers 30 guitars.
Shot in RAW under the flourescent lights of the office using a flourescent white balance. The blue background is the crushed velvet in the guitar case.
adjusted contrast in RAW, resize, shadow/highlight, levels, contrast, noise ninja, sharpen, increase canvas, resize, save for web.
This is really like. I have a couple more in the series that I like, but artsy daughter likes this one best, and she's usually right. Hoping to crack 6. |

| Nice colors and oof effect created on the metal strings and guitar itself. Compositionally, needs some adjusting for overall balance, in my opinion. |
