On the edge of the wilderness, the wapiti (elk) encroach on civilization. An elk herd routinely grazes on the municipal golf course. The elk in the photo is a "spike"... a teenaged bull. Not dangerous, but only the residents know he's all bluff and bluster.

Your photo makes me laugh. Great colors. I kind of wish you had cropped out the tree on the right, but still a really fun photo to look at. Good luck in the challenge. 9

Love the rich colours in this.

If you'd perhaps just caught it a smidgen earlier when the gnu (?) wasn't obscured slightly by the golfe ron the right.

Looks like Estes Park city course, ever tried to putt THROUGH an elk? Ought to give us extra strokes for that ONE!! Great capture 10 for the idea (and a 15 if you have ever had to do it!!)LOL
