Congrats on your top ten finish.

I'm not sure many people appreciate how hard it is to get a dog this crisp - especially when it is running at you and in mid stride . .

I have taken (literally) countless shots of my dog running and got very few that are worthwhile.

This on the otherhand looks spot on :- )

This is a stunning capture, the colours, and clarity are fantastic. Also, you chose (IMO) the most difficult letters of the alphabet for your title. Bravo and congratulations on top ten, Bob.

The desat effect is really cool considering the posture of the subject. What a great shot.

Good capture. I like your post-processing. I'm curious how the original looked. If the grass was green it really would have popped next to the color of the whippet.

the selective desaturation does emphasize the dog - but i personally think this shot would do better fully in color - it seems more gimmacy here than beneficial. still, it is a very good shot

Incredible shot. Looks like a greyhound running for lead.
Very well done.

Had preferred this to be in a black and white rather than partially desat. Beautiful dog.

This is done so very well! It deserves a ribbon!

The desaturation kind of makes him look demonic, which is not the effect I assume you were going for.

Ohhh...you took a beautiful image of your baby! I really admire your wonderful DOF, composition, detail and nice editing work..a truly beautiful capture of a beautiful creature. I am now a proud owner of a 2 year old Greyhound. These swift hounds are amazing and gentle. Don't they run fast?! I love your happy dog and image!

Such amazingly fast little creatures.
I would've preferred the grasses to remain their natural color.

Lost the last comment. Maintenence mode on the site kicked it.

Love the expression, the isolation of the subject and the sense of movement. I wonder if the grass could have been 'less completely' (can't think of the word) desaturated.
