Thanks for all the high votes, this is my highest rated image by a whole point!

To answer some peoples questions:

kauisyndrome: they were probably going about 35mph

SkyeMari and dmul91: I did manage to get some shots with just one rider in them, but I really like the way this one expresses the emotion of whats going on. Oscar, the blue rider, is attacking to win and you can see it on his face and by the way he's on the bike, while the rider in red has that look of "oh no! i'm not going to make it on his face". The busy background helps to show how fast they're going, and to me it looks like theres almost some vignetting going on that draws my attention to the middle of the image. But that might just be me! (This is also a full image I captured and wasn't cropped at all.)

OpenMaTT: the RGB was completely accidental :)

very nice panning, but the biker in red kind of offsets the compisition of everything else.

GREAT panning and GREAT colour. This photo really stands out to be because of the saturation... RGB (Red Green Blue)... whether it was intentional or not I love it.

This picture has a good use of panning but i believe that it is not balanced.

Looks like some serious speed. I'm not brave enough to try a fixed gear.
