 Two ladies chatting at their windows in the old Funchal.

I had only my wide angle lens, so I choosed for a wide portrait, including a part of the window and the wall. I liked the pale spring's sun too.



Raw converted with DXO OPTICS PRO 5, apart from that, almost not postprocessed (crop, limited dodging, lines straightened up: this was captured after a Madeira wine's tasting)

Finally resized, USM 44% /0.9/1

This is a really cool shot a frame within a frame but it tells a story too. I imagine them as lifelong friends that's no easy feat in my experience. Lovely shot thanks for sharing.

This is a perfect 10. I love it. I might have cropped out the upper white part of the window to which my eye seems drawn, but I'm not sure.

I Like very much these two old ladies. But I would have even more loved it if the frame of the picture crop below the middle of the window. It is a little bit disturbing.
