 Week 19:

The road to our family's country get away. It leads through a rocky hollow, which is the name of the road, and over a river. You probably can tell that I have an affinity for rural roads and trees. There is just a simplicity that draws me in and I am compelled to photograph them, to preserve that calm and relaxing moment. They are probably boring to many but to me they say so much, so different from the 60 hour weeks at work and busy city life that has become the norm of my life.

Your aim to capture the peace of this place is well met with this. The composition is very soothing, very balanced. And the quietness carries well, too.

I agree, often a simple road like this is sufficient to allow one to totally escape from the hustle and bustle of one's normal life. I often try to do the same thing when I go running on weekends.

looks very calm & quiet. really not a city road :)

what draw my attention was the shadows on the road,they look pretty interesting.
