Actually, my daughter is quite happy. :)

We are on vacation in a rented cottage... no supplies at hand... so I made a mask out of leaves and a twig (obviously).

Six quick snaps and then we went out to wakeboard on the lake. I hope my score doesn't reflect it. :)

crop, Lucis layer, saturation, shadow/highlights, Black/white sepia blend layer, reduce layer saturation, burn left top highlights, perhaps a tad light version of Poster edges (I can't remember -- I know I tried it, but I might have deleted that layer), border, burn/dodge eyes, sharpen, Save for Web.

That's pretty unique mask and a processing to match it. The leaves and eyes play together nicely.

This might have been stronger done in low-key rather than high-key. To me, sadness is better conveyed with darkness rather than light.

One of my top scores in this challenge - I really like the created mask - very well done. The muted tones and her coloring work very well together.

Aww, why is she sad? That is no good. Nice job on the mask, I've never seen that done before. I love her eyes, very good job isolating them. The contrast or sharpening seems a bit harsh. Still very effective image, I am drawn right into her and the mask.

I am not sure about the title, but the khaki theme is excellent here. The graininess adds to the shot. good composition as well.

Daring. Strange. Not to my taste, but nicely done and nice processing too.

the eyes look good, i feel like this has a little too much editing, in my opinion.

interesting concept and execution, don't know if the filter will go over too well

Oversharpened in my opinion. This has made the models hair look like straw and made the leaves look dried out.

truly a novel concept. colors (or lack of it) also adds a "sad" effect to the picture.

very well executed.

Different and I sorta dig it. Good luck!

The eyes are amazing! The "mask" however, being the same color as her eyes, kind of mutes their wow factor. still a high score from me!
