Just a silly image inspired by these Black-capped Chickadees who love to peck at the seeds. The rays are not very good and I should have replaced those sticks with actual branches but was too lazy to go shoot some.

The combination of the two photos into one where the birds occupy the same space helps create a feeling/story. That one bird on the left is looking at the bird on the right and seems to be thinking "Man, how come those seeds don't do that when I break them open?!?!?!" Nice touch with the simple backdrop in which a color halo spreads out from the bird breaking open and releasing the magic sparkles from the seed. The uncluttered backdrop really draws the eye to the main subject and the action going on. You did some wonderful editing magic to create this final composition.

Beyond the silly rays, I love the light that is blasting the other bird right in the face/eyes. Funny stuff!

"Just a silly image" that 99% of us here could not create. This is great. I've added it to my favorites.

From the thumbnail I thought that bird was on fire! (or made to look like it.) I was afraid to open this and see all of the outraged hollering in the comments! Silly me...it's just a magical chickadee. Everybody likes those!

Wild. Like how you get across the jealous glance of the golden seed-less one in composing this. To see the potential in these two shots... You're in a whole other league, man.

I almost sent coffee shooting out of my nose when I opened this! Too cool for words! I like how you "lit" the bird on the left with the light from the one on the right. Fabulous.

WOOOOOOO YEAH MAN.... See that's what I'm talking about. That bird was turning into a super hero bird getting ready to go fight some evil hawk.

Great editing man. Wait til you see my day 5 and 6.
