Please don't be discouraged by your first entry. It takes a while to get to know what folks like here.
Your vision of the boots as a good subject was spot on! It just needs a bit of tweaking of the technique... and before you know it, you'll be scoring with the 'high rollers' here. *grin*
Pay attention to a recurring theme in the comments and work on those things one item at a time until you conquer that (ignore the odd ones! *grin* ). Compete with yourself on your score. Can you score just a tad bit higher next entry? Then a bit higher the next? It's all about learning, you know.
I'm looking forward to seeing how you progress. Enter again! :) |

| Good title and idea but clipped on the left and right, too small, out of focus, distracting elements around the boots, and the flash gives harsh lights and shadows. |

| I'm afraid it just doesn't look like a whole lot of thought was put into this one. Yes, it meets the challenge, but being out of focus, with a distracting book in the background, poorly composed and smaller than the allowable size, it just needed a little more effort to be a viable entry. |

| Pretty much a snapshot IMO. Cool boots thou...have never seen them with that type of tread/sole before. |
