 The 7 Deadly Sins II Challenge was my second challenge when I joined dpc 2 years ago. I entered a good image but it didn't fit the challenge as well as I thought it would. Hope this one does better. I've chosen the same sin. Greed.

Post challenge:
Couldn't believe my eyes this morning when I saw that I'd got third place. I'd hoped for top 10 but didn't think a 6.5 would make it. Thank you!
bobonacus said he’d like to know how I did this, so here goes:
Taped one of my printed out transparent sheets (green this time) onto the sheet of glass I was backlighting through.
Used an eggcup to throw the water (also tinted green with food colouring) onto the wine glass. The sides of the wine glass are missing because I broke them out ages ago during an experiment. I kept the glass just in case I ever needed half a wine glass ;-) I didn’t tilt the image, I tilted the camera. It took me about 30 shots to get this splayed out look, I thought it looked a bit like wings (well, to me anyway ;-)

WOW! hardest pic of the bunch for me to rate. It's very cool, I like the broken glass with the splash and everything. I don't read titles as a rule when voting and I'm not one to comment DNMC..but this is a great.. and I hate to say but I just couldn't get how this fits the challenge without your title.. still a 7 for a great, creative, well executed, technically sound photo.
