Seems to me you got un-necessarily slammed for this, Tom. Wow. I thought it would to a lot better....I liked it very much and give it a 9 just because of the clarity of the over all shot and the perfect reflection in the side view mirror which made the shot for me. I see some aberrations noted below but one, the kink in the tracks is caused by the curve of the window...jeez how hard is that to figure out. Another great job! RoB

Interesting view, IMHOit might have been better to frame it in a single window.

good sharp image but the clouds have an unreal effect, are they cloned in?
my only criticism, good shot.

How long did you wait before a train came by? Fabulous image quality!

A very common view that everyone who drives can identify with, but done with beautiful intutive technique resulting in superbe clarity and wonderful colour - high score for this

this photo is a riot of lines and works well to present the subject of windows and the mirror view really adds to it. The lines on the asphalt really add to the composition.

Exposure and color is very good but the image, on the whole, is too busy for my tastes. Also, the sky and railroad sign in the background appear to be distorted and too bad you included what appears to be the visor in the top left hand corner, which I find a bit distracting.

How you managed to take a snapshot out your car window and get an 8 from me is baffling, but you did it! Congrats on a remarkable well balanced and pleasing image.

clever view with the mirror too.

very neat capture in the side mirror, but somehow the fact that the photo is from inside the car (and you see so much of the inside of the car) reduces the power of the photo.

A lot of photos out of car windows in this challenge. I would have like to have seen back further in the review mirror, this is a bit of a nit I know. For the most part the photo is very clean and well done the next comments are really for very minor things that I would not have noticed except the rest of the photo is so clean. It looks like there was some cloning going on in the upper left, the train looks just a bit off on the top and the clouds have an odd repeating pattern just left of the tree. At that same point below the tracks seem to have a kink in them. Around the rear view mirror the edges look a little off as well, kind of rough. Over all I liked it.
