 ahh. okay so i have VERY high hopes for this shot! im so excited to see what others think of it. this is my first entry with my new 50mm 1.4 lens and i lovee itt! i did alot of dodging and burning and lightened the eyes a bit, but other than that, its straight out of camera.

lets see what happens!

I like the simplicity of natural light, sometimes I get so lost in this strobist thing. Love the matching eyes and the background.

I am color blind, so you may need to ignore this, but the background looks blue to my eye.

Stunning portrait, I'm not sure if the focus and sharpness are perfect but it doesn't matter too much as it's such a great expression, crop, composition, DOF that it makes for a wonderful image. My favourite part is the colours though with the eyes and the background matching and drawing you into the shot. One of my top 5

Great portrait. The background blue compliments the eyes really well. Great expresion and the wisp of hair on the face adds to the shot. Not keen on the eye liner, not sure it's needed.
