Effective! For the purists, the light may be a bit hot on the strawberry, but I like the end effect alot.

I think a slightly faster shutter speed would have been better, because right now it looks like that strawberry is getting pummeled! Also, the strong lines take your eye straight out of the image. Your focus is quite good though.

I really like this image, so far it is my favorite! I wish I would have thought of a longer exposure instead of trying to catch and freeze the sugar! :)
