This is Pawdrix at the marsh... And yeah he WAS showing "raccoon eyes" that day :-)

Spurgeon, and others: heavy diffuse glow was applied to a duplicate overlayer, then the portion of that layer containing steve was erased to let the sharpened underlayer show through.

HDR does not make Steve look that much better IMO. But then again, ain't much I like about HDR. You're addicted to it, man. I used to like your photos ;-) until HDR came along. To get back to the image, I guess those raccoon eyes are due to the excess beer... Hope you had some fun.

HDR??? I am not really a fan of the edit and I don't want to be rude, but the image more of a snapshot than a well thought out portrait :( sorry
