 I didn't have much success with what I originally wanted to do so I decided to incorporate the moon into the picture.
I cropped a small amount of the left hand side, upped the exposure by 1.0 and then RAW to JPEG conversion (via Photoshop).

I like it, it certainly is minimal. I'm wondering what it would look like with some 'NEAT' image and overall sharpening - if it would improve it more. I may never know.
