First of all.. yes... that is a REAL reflection...
and ... no... it was NOT easy to line it up in my glasses...

I had several ideas for this shot... I will not disclose them because they are still good for other challenges =)

I basically built a little room for woody, put him in the corner posed as though he was scared and cornered with nowhere to go, set up my Nikon D50 above the little room and used the remote to take the pic. (I am facing the room and the camera is facing me) IT was tricky because I had to line up the reflection of the room in my glasses just right... I used my old SB-28 on my SC-29 cord to light it from the side. I used a home made snout (out of a pepsi box) to direct the light onto woody. The white walls in the model room gave a perfect reflection onto my face and the drill bit. (i'm assuming that everyone will know that that is a drill bit). I must have taken well over 100 shots of this because I am using the remote so it's really hard to frame it just right so that the reflection of woody in the room lined up perfectly in my glasses... it was basically take the pic, check the result, line it up again and keep doing that... this is about the 100th shot... yea... it took that long to get it right =)

All I did was some tweeking in camera raw, crop, resize, and that's it. (well... obviously.. it's only basic editing...)

Congratulations! This one was definitely my favorite in the challenge. The shot was both well executed(and a hell of a lot of work!) and made me laugh out loud. :D V

I didn't realize it was a drill bit. I thought it was a handle of some sort with tape wrapped around it. The drill makes a lot more sense.
