 Shot at the Kater Street Garden...which is loosing the other end so the building owners can put in a new generator! Heaven forbid they give up a parking space for it. See other information on this imagine: . I cannot write about it anymore, it's just to upsetting.

Anyway...a happy accident....I usually shoot these at the Sartaine Street Garden but the peripheral flower offerings this year seem to be a lot less than in the past. Must be new plot owners. But I digress....Moron shot a few days before this and had the camera on the incandescent white balance and forgot to change it before shooting. But moron liked the DOF coloring in this so he processed it without changing the white balance (the background came out tan and red when he changed it to cloudy so he left it as is....he? Don't you just hate when someone writes in the third person....WE certainly do! LOL!)

I like this a lot. Colors are really appealing. Flower has good focus & detail. Background looks watery/dreamy.

The background is almost the attention getter here. My eye kept bouncing back to the flower but still wanted to figure out what was back there. Interesting presentation.

i love the dof here, the lines in the back give it such a great feel... the colors are very complimentary.. great focus.. a wonderful shot!
