Happened to stumble across this photo again -- it strikes me now what a great shot it is. Hard to believe it didn't place much higher.

I seriously can't believe how this placed. I gave it my only 10, and added as a favourite. So disappointing - so far and away the winner for me!

I gave this an 8 myself. Loved it then, love it now. Deserves a much, much higher placing.

I loved this, and gave it an 8. Very under-rated.

I'm surprised by that score. Well I gave it a 9. Oh and can you save up for two of those lens and give me one? :P

I like this shot more and more every time I see it. There's drama, yet it is subtle enough that it doesn't take over the shot. The use of the DOF is exquisite. (and I'm in trouble in Shallow DOF IV if shots like this are the norm there). Wonderful, wonderful non-classic portrait.

A very nice image, and the title is a perfect fit. It's well composed and the B&W works very well here.

The out of focus stripes really add to the shot. I love how eyelashes create those little point when they get wet. Great DOF!! :~)
