Abstract shot of soap bubbles. Really enjoyed doing this. Found a cool way to create the bubbles on demand. Real challenge is to keep the dish containing the soap bubbles perfectly level so that the bubbles formed will remain static making it easier to photograph.

As for the title , it just sounded real cool....

Thanks to all for the votes. I used a dropper to create the bubbles on demand. I could actually control the bubble size by controlling the amount of air ejected by the dropper & even steer the bubbles around to get the patterns that I wanted. The bubbles were lighted from below.
Of course I would like to mention yanko as I was definitely inspired by his "Mitosis" shot . It is a brilliant shot.

Congrats on your ribbon, Andrew. I thought this was Yankos too. I also knew for sure it would be top three because it's fantastic.

Congrats Andrew! Funny that some thought it was me. Probably because of the name (meiosis vs mitosis). Anyway, perfect high key shot.

Brilliant composition and contrast. I like how the bubbles looks like grapes. Excellent work here.

Nice lead in and sharp. Possibly if you get the lead to start in at a corner and then bend upwards would make it easier to follow it through

Nothing like clear and flawless bubbles to impress the masses. I'd be interested in seeing this rotated counter-clockwise 90 degrees... there's a figure there waiting to be unleashed.

The best of the soap bubble shots. I like the high key treatment. This should place very well. Fits in with the theme and is technically good and eye pleasing. Perhaps a slight hint of additional noise reduction would've added a smooth look to the background gradient in the shot.(no vote)
