After comparing this photo to your Color Studio Portrait III entry "Wild Child", I think I give the nod to Wild Child. I love the colors of the scarf in this one, but I prefer the more natural look of her hair in the other photo. It's a tough choice though because they are both wonderful portraits. Congratulations!

I confess I didn't vote on all the images in this challenge and this is one I hadn't seen until now. I'm pleased it at least made the top 30. The eyes do not stike me as fake or overdone (something I'm usually sensitive to). I agree with the comments that a slightly deeper depth of field might be an improvement, but I think that "flaw" is offset by the loveliness of the young model and the stunning colors, fore and aft.

I love the way everything works together here. The blue eyes, the colours in the scarf, and the harmonizing background. This is a beautiful portrait of a beautiful girl.

She gazed warily, with a hint of smile, as if unsure of me and my presence, but giving in to her instincts to be friendly. I smiled back, softly, and lifted the camera with a questioning look. A glance at her mother, sitting nearby gave her the permission she needed to give me a nod.

A slight positioning, a click, and her simple beauty captured. A girl trying to learn the world, and her place in it, the dangers and joys that can conflict in every moment.

I thanked her and walked away, wondering what other wonders of the world I'd find.

her left eye is all blured up.
i also think cropping more off the top and right might help it. maybe some whiter eyes.. something about the eyes is funny, maybe the sharpening?
slightly more DOF would have worked better for me.

the background colors do compliment the photo, i just think to crop it compositionaly

Beautiful image. My only criticism is the loss of focus due to shallow DOF on the right side of her face. Otherwise....Very well done. Good Luck.

Beautiful , perfect features to a perfect shot , 10 (the 1st one I have give out in very a long while). This shot deserves it.
The colors blend well with the background, there is a sense of mystery, the lighting is brilliant. sharpness & DOF spot on. Into my favs for reference, one of these days I am gonna shoot one myself .... (now if only I could find the right model)

Just LOOK at those colors! The eyes and lips really stand out, but they look a bit colored after the fact. I may be wrong, so I didn't mark this down any, of course. It's a BEAUTIFUL image of a stunningly beautiful girl.

Lovely color portrait. Feels maybe just a touch warm, and I wish the back eye was a little more in focus. 7.

Here eyes were over done. They look fake. You should use the burn tool to go around hte edges of the irises.
