the big BIG black border is a big BIG distraction.

I like the picture a lot. However, the frame doesn't look good to me. (8)

nice photo. not a fan of the frame, however. Although it is funny how each section frames itself out.

Nice shot well exposed and set up, but the composition is a bit centered, and the big wide strong border brings that slight flaw firmly to the fore.

Nice shot, love the colour tones here. The border is quite overpowering but I can see it would look nice with a frame and hanging on a wall. Also needs a little bit more of sharpening for my taste. Good photo nonetheless.

Great photo, but i think the border is a little bigger than needed and actually draws peoples attention away from image.

The shadows really work.

The massive decorated border, regrettably, is squelching a fine image.

Ah me.... What did you do that for? A GREAT GREAT photograph overwhelmed by a HUGE frame/border. Are you showing your talent as a photographer or that you can read the directions and add a big fat frame? I have come back to this several times and I can't give you the 9 you deserve because that damned fram is so disturbing, sorry. -8-

Excellent picture, I think the border detracts from it though.

for me the frame really distracts from a nice shot

Good photo. Although I think it's more persepctive than proportion. The border is not bad, but I don't think it's really needed. 7

I think it would be better with more image and less border

I'd lose the distracting border. It overwhelms the image.

The extravagent and unecessary border makes this look like a photo of a photo. The image itself is quite nice.

I like it a lot, although I probably would have scored it higher without the excessive border.

The big frame adds on the nice photo here. I like the symmetry and the rawness of the stones.

It's a handsome image -- it stands on it's own without the frame, which uses up a lot of space in the image.

Nice framing (within the shot too). Good shot.

Great way to show proportion. Usually I hate frames, but in this case it adds to the whole idea. All in all, quite successful.
