Just photographing crows hopping around benches and railings near a pear tree. Wanted to get all the lovely colours in the black feathers. When I looked this one I was impressed with the crow-sizedness of the man.....

Fair bit of cropping, fairly slapdash conversion to greyscale, light and contrast twiddles, downsize, USM, sharpen.

Definitely not looking for a score here!

lol is that snow on its back or is he just a dirty bird? This is an interesting study in proportions. It's almost as if the bird is wondering whether to eat that guy for lunch or dinner hehe

Photographically, I don't think it's a 10: it's grainy and it looks like it's been cropped to far. But, maybe those things ad to what I like about it. I'm scoring it a 10 anyway.
