Inspired by LevT's fascinating image, Magic Garden.

I shot mine a little differently. I didn't use any oil instead I just used some old unmixed paint which I poured into a plastic see-thru container. I then painted using a small brush along the inside wall of the container to get the shapes (partially submerged in the thin unmixed part of the paint). What you see here is a side view of the container.

I think this is a brilliant abstract, with so much suggestion.

This is amazing! That one central face really draws you in - then there are so many more faces to be seen.

It reminds me of one of the illustrations depicting the underworld in my childhood copy of C.S Lewis' Prince Caspian. From a top-down perspective I can distinguish a single figure looking back up at me... from a hell I have escaped.

This is a fascinating abstract - hellish, what damnation would look like. I'm not even religious, and this makes me want to pray for forgiveness. :) Seriously emotive.

I really like this shot. I think it would have done quite well in the challenge.
