I love this shot, its a fantastic angle and stunning colours. Pelicans can be surprisingly boring in shots, but this one inspires me to get out there and look at them in a different way.

I've really got ot go and buy myself a Pelican sometime . . how can something so ungainly be so absurdly photogenic ??

Unusual composition and I don't like the lack of beak point, but do like the clarity, detail, light and blue background.

great! Love the way you got the bill on the other side of the bird's chest. The border is a little too thick though imho. 8

I really like the unusual perspective you've got here. Not an angle you see very often. My one nit pick would be that I would have liked the tip of the beak to have made it into the shot, but that may have distrubed the balance of things.
