Well I'm not really a "Street Photographer" and I think this is a bit cliche. Last thing I wanted was people walking down the street. I always think of Street Photography as finding people interacting with the environment in interesting way. Plus this isn't your general up close and personal view. Walking does not really cut it, but Street Photography is a a fickle thing, and getting that really good photo is rare. This is what you get. I'm calling this a landscape street shot....

There are a few things I do like about this photo nevertheless. I really like the feeling of various numbers going on here. Groups of 1's, 2s, 3s and more. I really enjoy that in this photo. I wish the car wasn't there or at least in a different place. Wish the bicyclist was on the other side of the frame. Some fun in the foreground would have been nice too. But alas needed to catch the bus.

This was taken under the Seattle Viaduct (black bar at top) near the Ferry Terminal. Missed my first bus, so had to wait 30 minutes. Went down by the water to see if I could get some. The curved lights in the background you might recognize from this picture

Interesting to see how this scores. Guessing 5.5 to 5.8 range.

Maybe a tad too dark. Had a few crops, but came back to the non-cropped version. Editing consisted of emphasizing shadows/light. All done in Capture NX. Had shot originally in B&W, but decided I like the color better. Here is the Original Straight from camera (B&W mode):

It's interesting that I feel there is more human interaction in this shot than in your outtake. There are as many people in the outtake, but I think the cars distract from them.

As with the other shot, I really like the color in this shot, especially the reflected color on the pavement. And while I usually don't like all the electrical equipment in a photo, you have so much of it here that it becomes an interesting feature -- the overhead traffic lights and the row of arched street lamps. The more I look at the shot, the more I find to like about it.

Absolutely, one of my faves in the challenge!!

I like everything included in your shot though, the car, the bike, the sunset adds a lovely golden afternoon feeling to it and this works wonderfully in portrait, not too keen on the landscape outtakes u did... =)

This would be fantastic if only you'd cropped out that black part on top.

Talk about magic hour light. The light and framing are great. Not sure that I get a sense of 'street photography' on this though. Outside of your control, had they been crossing the street without the car turning, the image would be a lot more powerful. The car steals attention from the crosswalkers.

Nice...I like the peeping sun, colours and the way my eye seamlessly explores everything...I would perhaps try chopping a bit off the top...maybe.

I quite like the sun blaring in at the top and the line of arches from the lamps. Looks like the end of a lovely day.

an eye stopper. i like the way the glare connects the bottom part of the photo with the pitch-dark upper part.

This shot has potential but I'd like to see it with a different crop. Much less foreground, a bit less on top.
