Gosh, I hate to read too much into titles and challenge descriptions, but this one kind of jumps out at me. The woman appears partially nude in a mine shaft or something, which seems odd to me to either be searching or abandoned. I may be very sheltered though. I do like the picture, composition and processing, leaves a lot to the viewer to figure out. Artistic.

This is a lovely silhouette shot...great perspective and nicely taken. It certainly has impact! Just doesn't say "abandoned" to me.

Uh huh... yep... I'm not getting a feeling of "abandoned", but I'll take your word for it. I do love the back-lighting though, very cool.
