Thanks for the kind words!

The model's name is Heather a local model I met on Model Mayhem. She was wonderful to work with.

This and a few other shots were taken at Saint Mary's Cathedral in Austin. It was built in 1884 and is of gothic design architecture. A really cool place.

beautiful shot!! amazing...! i'm an amateur photog & i have tons of questions about how you accomplished this.... this is way, way, way beyond my skill level. you obviously brought in lighting, right? something about her skins looks 'surreal'. why is that?? also does the camera have something to do with it? i have a digital rebel xt, & i doubt i could get a shot like this with it...

I am not sure I actually like this type of PP, but I do appreciate the craftmanship and the execution. Apart from that, the picture itself is just great in terms of lighting, props, setting, pose and expression.

Thanks. No gel. I prefer to work with a full color image if I am going to work it up more in post. It makes it easier to create masks and such.
