Brin! This is so incredibly beautiful! That fire in the sky over such beautiful land. I'm so happy you lucky Icelanders share your country with us!

Beautiful colors and great composition. I feel like I need to tilt my head a little though and wish it was perfectly level.

Kornak watched as the sun went down, causing one of the more beautiful sunsets he could remember to flash across the sky. A single tear streaked down his muddy, wind-burned face as he realized that it was probably the last he'd ever see.

He hadn't meant to anger the family. He hadn't meant for the money to disappear, but it had, and they had taken their revenge on him in this horrific way. Buried to his neck in the stinking, freezing mud of the Chantarak Shore, Kornak could only reflect on what went wrong. He knew his time was short, for when the sun finally set, and the colors bled from the sky, they would come for him. They would be hungry. They would feed.

He watched as the sunset faded, and the tears fell faster. At least he was going to die with this beauty as a final vision. At least there was that.

The colors bled. Darkness fell.

They came.

They fed.

I like that you incorporate something extra into the foreground in order to add interest. However, you might want to try editing this as an HDR as the silhoette looks somewhat out of place amongst so much colour.
