 Slightly oobie entry here, may be dnmc to some. This is an alternate frame of the building I shot for the Abandoned challenge. Almost entered this one for that challenge, then after rollover realized it could work well for the Mirror challenge as well, so rolling the dice and taking my chances here.

Also thought about entering this one shot on the same day ... the reflection is not as good but interesting to look at because I did a good job of hiding myself in the shot. Decided that was a bit too subtle for this site, as few peeps would look at it long enough to get the point.



Thanks for the kind comments, and thanks posthumous for another ribbon! btw -- this shot was not desaturated in the traditional sense; played with tones a little and did lower the luminance in the yellow channel, but no selective desat applied.

Did you just happen to see this shape? What a great eye. I like how your blue enhances the break in the window. With the clouds in the sky it's almost like the angel is already in heaven :)

A lot of people desaturated everything but sky. Not sure where this new cliche came from? But this is a very effective shot nonetheless. Almost a collage-effect.

I won't be blinded by my pet peeves. I give you a Posthumous Red Ribbon.
