It was nice to be able to enter this challenge. I tried several different locations on the coast and took this shot while walking around before work in the Embarcadero Center in San Francisco.

Thank you for all the votes and favorites. This photo was barely edited. I think my favorite little bit is the evenly cut circles at the top of the image.

very cool shot, a lot to keep the eye moving. I only gave you a 7 in retrospect should have scored higher!

By the way, my favorite part of the color version is the yellow glow at the very bottom - kinda like the heart of the flower and everything opens and flows from that.

Color is quite nice but the B&W really shines. Nicely seen, lovely work as always.

I loved this, Joe. The swirls and shapes, plus the high contrast between the inorganic, monochrome steps and the organic, bright green plant ... just wonderful!

I just realized that this viewpoint is included in a recent internet emailing of "CERDFotos.pps". However your entry is seriously crisper, and has much better post processing! Good capture, great lines!

It really has the flow and it makes me dizzy. I like the minimalistic color range, and even the plans folows the patterns arround.

Oh man this is simply wonderful! I love the balance, flow and the repetition of shapes in all the elements is simply amazing.

Oh fun image! I love the patterns in the tile work and the curves of the railings. The asemmetry works great with this image, and the splashes of color from the plants are great. Did you have to add lighting on the bottom floor by the plant? My only issue is the framing of the closest bars, i would like to have seen it centered on the middle bar or centered in the middle of the bars. 6

Great POV! This may even work better as a B&W. Great symmetry as well. Kudos!

great, fantastic, wonderful location. Love the little hint of yellow right at the bottom and all those great tile patterns. Long for something cliched like a woman in a full red dress walking up the stairs.

That splash of colour in the middle of an otherwise mostly B&W image is icing on the cake! I love the patterns, the swirls, the point of view. This is my kind of photo.

This is unusual and I like it very much the green fern makes it
I find it very busy but very well seen and created a 10 from me

That is just downright cool. The composition forces your eyes to the center, and there they stay. . . .
