Extra point for use of big words! ; )
I like the composition but would like to be able to see more detail in the diamond.
Edit - looking on a different monitor I can see some detail that I missed before, I now see what I thought you had been trying for and missed before! Score amended |

I like the high-key approach, just watch your corners, they need a little dodging (esp. upper-right). |

Very pretty, stock shot style shot. Nicely done. Should do well in here. Just doesn't really say anything to me though beyond it being a great technical and a lovely piece of jewelry. |
