 This was taken after a passing storm at sunset. Puddles filled a newly paved parking lot, creating mirror-like surfaces. I had run out of the house barefoot to capture the sky and clouds, as it glowed a surreal orange / red. Noticing the puddles, I snapped a few of these.



People stared as i posed for this photo - it must have looked strange to see a kid looking at his feet as he held his hand out in the middle of a puddle in an open parking lot. The thought makes me want to photograph photographers in their awkward positions, as they mindfully frame shots in a heightened state of mind.

Really fantastic. I love how the specks in the concrete look like stars in the heavens.
