 Not at all what I wanted to capture, but unable to capture what i wanted to, and this is the most pleasing image of what I managed to get. This is me after the hospital, original plan was to emphasize needle tracks running up both arms, and IV bruises. I know this is doomed, but I had to enter my own challenge and I haven't the energy to create anything more hearty right now.

A shame the relevance was not obvious to some, but in spite of an overall low score, some of us "got it". I think you deserve an "attaboy" for an effective illustration of the topic. I gave it a 9. Glad you are recovering well and want to get behind the shutter again already.

Hate to say it, but I don't get it. What's the event? Heart surgery? If you PM me with an explanation, I'll be happy to be more constructive, but I won't score it differently out of fairness to the others.

I would assume this is Bear's entry... not only because of the style and subject, but because he's probably the only member of the site who would use the word "Detritus" in a title :) Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
