 I would have liked the bottom foreground rock more to the left, but it was what I was actually set up on and couldn't move to the right any more.

HDR tone-mapped image composing of 5 images at 1 stop brackets. Additional levels/saturation adjustments in CS3, slight dodging/burning, resize, usm, border, save for web.

The scene is kind of ordinary, at least for the beautiful mountain/desert, High Sierra kind of thing, but the exquisite detail and the processing really bring this image to life. Very well done! 8

Gosh, the lighting is great!!! So is the contrast and composition. I totally love these type of geology. I really hope this is a ribbon winner. A perfect 10
