Well, I still love this portrait - it deserved a much higher placing IMHO!

I like the portrait. The pose... not so much. She looks a bit like a floating torso because her bottoms blend right into the bg. Still, soft light and excellent catchlights get good marks from me :)

nice soft light and great clarity. two comments : I don't find the title really fitting with her facial expression, the hand alone does not make it a thinking woman. Second comment : the lower hand looks like the fingers were cut of, might have been better with stretched fingers.

Nicely lit and controlled. She looks just a tad too posed IMO, but that's a nitpick. If I were her, I'd be very pleased with this portrait. 7

This just looks much too posed... to me, her facial expression doesn't look genuine, and imho, makes the image less interesting. The lighting is great, though.
