 this is my first entry. there wasn't much set up for this shot except not getting ran over. i used a tripod and used the 2 sec. timer so as not to get motion blur. i used paint shop pro X2. the only editing was resizing and brightening up a little bit. i have no idea what an f/stop is, what iso is, or really what any of the settings are on my camera. as far as description of the photo itself. this is highway 156 in TN we (my partner in crime) take this route back to chattanooga sometimes after we drop a patient off at dialysis in jasper and this road is full of twisties and i thought it met this challenge fairly well. this is just one of the many sets of twisties on this route as well one of the most prettiest drives with the fall foilage. granted most of the leaves have now fallen off.

oh and an extremely fun road to drive might i add. also one of my outtake shots i actually laid flat on the yellow lines to get a different angle and only took one shot, cuz i chickened out for all the cars that were coming. and it had just rained, it was freezing, and i was getting soaked laying there. not to mention it started to snow after i left

Congratulations on getting 6th place on your first entry! I dream of getting 6th place sometime in my first 100 entries! And for not knowing much about cameras you have a great eye and instincts for the right picture. Keep it up. Great capture.

That is one twisted road, I know this is basic editing so it couldnt have been done here...but i wonder to play around with it, if you did selective desaturation and only left the yellow line in color how that would look

I like how the vibrant yellow center lines, lead your eye away to the distance and you want to look around the corner. nicely done

Love it....I had this idea also, but there was no road this curvy near me. Good job. Wish the road was cleaner and blacker, but....hey, what can you do right.
