I can't exactly tell why but the color tones is very appealing and somehow adds to the mood of carefree magic. Nothing is more simple and fun then blowing bubbles:-) I like that we see the girl in the background as she is in the action of blowing the bubbles. She is blurred because the main focus is not really on her but it is the bubbles that are the objects that can and do hold us under a spell. Ah, wait I think I now know why the color tones add to this - it is because they remind me of either watercolor tones and/or those old nostalgic polariod photos that have an aged patina.

See, now how cool is this? Normally bubbles are bokeh, but here you have the bubble blower as bokeh - and it's excellent!

The light and colors in this shot are just amazing. And what a great subject! Who can resist bubbles?? They make me smile every time. A fave!

I absolutely LOVE this! I love the strong color, and I am drawn to the bubbles, trying to figure out what the room looks like; love how they are the focus.
