I'm assuming that's the "new pier" in the background? I probably wouldn't have figured that out without the title.. Good shot and an interesting take on the challenge, but it just doesn't quite do it for me personally.

I really like how the front pier draws you into the image. The water is nice - silky - a sightly long exposure I would guess. Perhaps a little longer would have been nice as that would have brought more light past the shutter and given more detail to the old pier. While the darker image gives the sense of twilight, I just feel the need for more light. I do like the blue tones a lot.

While this image is very visually interesting, I'm wondering where the "new pier" is? Is it that thing off in the distance? Anyway, great perspective and colors really make the photo. -6

great as a blue tint...the composition doesn't sit quite right for me, but i DO LIKE THE IDEA AND WHAT YOU HAVE DONE
