This is my Grandfather. He just turned 87 this year and still drives a mean golf ball. He's the winner of my "strongest man competition" because of what he's been through in his life and being an amazing father/grandfather to me.

This is my first pic ever submitted to DPC. Thank you all for your tips, suggestions and kind words. Its been a nail-biting 6 days.

Love his expression. I think you could crop out most of the left half of this shot and have a better submission for this challenge. The lattice makes a great BG but you really don't need all that you have in this shot.

i like it. perhaps just a slightly tighter crop to show more of that great character in his face. /7

Great expression, nice patterned background and composition. I think I'd prefer it if you had take one step closer to get a little closer view of his face. Nicely done!
