Tillandsia recurvata

Commonly known as "ball moss." I saw it hanging from an oak tree and immediately knew it was screaming for a little fractalius, which some of you are probably quite sick of. LOL I did an adjustment to BW in Silver Efex, cropped and that's about it. :~)

Oh wow!!! Love the tones in this, the filter works perfectly with this type of photo. It's like a Christmas tree ornament.

great processing, I'm sure the original was quite flat and no where near as interesting as this

Yeah, Sputnik only wishes it had so many antennae to collect data :-) Sorry, put away the astronomer cap... I can't imagine a more perfect use of fractalius! In your hands the processing adds so much, never distracts.

You made such an ugly thing beautiful :) Love the metallic look you gave it.

Another fantastic image Judy. The fractalius has worked a treat with the ball moss and the bokeh. Excellent title too.

If anything was made for fractallius, this is it. The whole pp is brilliant.

This is nice, the way the silver efex brings the item to the front. We have those here in my yard, but I don't seem to be able to get a good image of them. I just thought it to be something related to the Spanish Moss.

Fantastically weird- it looks like it's reaching out to catch something or someone.....

This is amazing Judy - one of the best example of fractalius I've seen in this SC. When it is this good, one cannot get tired of it :) And I am jealous of the results you get with that Silver Efex - wish I had it too...

Wow. you PP is perfect for this. It looks very attractive & a little spooky/dangerous in a fairy tale kind of way. Holds my interest just for the fun of looking at it.
