 Pekingese (Also commonly referred to as a "Lion Dog" or "Foo (or Fu) Dog" due to their resemblance to Chinese guardian lions) is an ancient breed of toy dog, originating in China. They were the favored pet of the Chinese Imperial court.

I love your photo of the beautiful pekingnese. I recently lost my dog and would love a copy of this photo for a memory of my wonderful dog. You captured the beauty and intelligence of this very special breed.

What a beautiful pet portrait! I love the softness around the face and the pose/expression is excellent! Glad to see you had a willing model...I wish I could get my cat to sit still long enough to take a photo like this of him! The only thing I am not sure about in this image is what appears to be the edging of a cushion towards the bottom of the frame, I would have preferred that not to be there but understand it's not easy getting animals in exactly the right place! An 8 from me :o)
