Corbett's Glenn right on the outskirts of Rochester. I wasn't intending to shoot a person in my landscape, but this fisherman kept getting in the way, so there he is. :)

The almost 50/50 split is unfortunate, but I really couldn't do any better with a crop.

Distinctively Neil! I thought the angler really added to the shot--even if he seemed a little cramped on the left side.

Neil, great shot! i think the composition is fine, even though it's about 50:50. the leaves in the foreground give more weight to the bottom, so it works for me. I agree with the vignette, though. A little too much for me this time around. Another great nshapiro wide angle landscape!

I think the fisherman MAKES this shot. Fabulous.

Another wonderful image, Neil. the image feels like a movie scene that pans from ground level macros, to a wide shot of the river, the falls and the trees. Well done.

I like the composition but I'm not that fond of the vignette...

This is a beautiful shot. I really like the foreground. You shouldn't have used the viginetting on this. Still, a very nice image. 7

Good composition and execution, I particularly like the foreground leaves

I like the photo a lot but, for me, the vignette is too harsh. A bit more subtle on that and i'd give it a point or two more.

to much foreground, was this done with a fish eye? I have a hard time with those shots...sorry...but if you cropped off the bottom (I know you loose the leaf)...I think I would like it better..

I love everything about this except the strong vignetting. Great foreground interest with the leaves, great effect of movement on the waterfalls, and I love fishing (he is fishing, isn't he?). Might have been a ten for me but I just don't like the vignetting.

IMHO if you were to crop the top of the image so that the waterfall ends up nearer to the top right and then remove the vignette, you would have a stronger picture. good luck

I would have composed the shot more to the right if possible because I can't really tell what the person in the shot is doing, and I find the leaves in the foreground far more interesting.
